Santa Rosa Plateau

Thursday afternoon I took the kids to the Santa Rosa Plateau to take a little hike. Actually it was more of a slow meander with lots of stops and dirty hands and knees. That's how I knew they were having fun. Oliver made sure that I knew that if we came across a mountain lion that he would punch it and punch it. Hazel absolutely loved the dirt. She was so entirely covered from head to toe. The weather was beautiful, the sunset divine. Then we drove a little ways further up to the Mattson's to pick some apples. Ollie thought that was really cool. It was a great afternoon. A good break from the norm.
I'm loving my weekly "Photo Thursday" excursion. I love my kids...but to be perfectly honest, I could use some new models! If anyone wants to join me, I would love to snap some photos of you and/or your kids. Post a comment if you want to come some time!

Anytime you want a little older subjects, I would love pics of Rachel & Emily. And if you want even older, I would love one of Jake in his fireman's outfit. Just LMK!!! Thursday Nov. 20th is a minimum day for the girls if that date would work for you!!!

If you are ever in the mood for a desert landscape with the awesomest sunsets ever, I know this really cool little town that has a train, ponds, and a water park (complete with water slides and a giant dumping bucket) for Ollie and Hazel. I have some pretty cute little subjects here for you too! I might even have a little one you can take home with you. She's kinda driving me a little bit batty!
