Shortly after putting our garden in earlier this spring some darling but pesky squirrels ate most of the sunflower seeds that we had planted. Only one plant survived and this morning Hazel really wanted to pick it. She was so happy! P.S. We also picked our first beautifully red juicy tomato – I love summer!

What a beautiful flower. You can tell that Hazel is so happy! Wait to go on the tomato. Ours r still green & I have no clue if we'll ever get enough sun to ripen them up?
