snow day

One of the coolest things about California, I think, is that you can be in a blizzard in some beautiful mountains an hour in one direction and surfing on a warm sandy beach if you drive the other direction. It's awesome. So we took a sledding trip this weekend and had a fun time. Hazel lasted for a few good runs (until she told me her fingers felt like "ice tubes") and Ollie had a great time racing his friends and dad down the hill. Good times. Good times. Photos: I wish I had gotten some more action shots, oh well. After bundling up Ollie he complained that his chin was still cold. Hence the photo in the middle where you can barely see one eye peering out. Funny kid.
