My sister Jennifer introduced me to the artist Brian Kershisnik a while back. I love his work. I am inspired by the everyday subject matters he paints and how they are able to evoke such emotion in their simplicity. Beautiful. This nativity scene is definitely one of my favorites. What do you think?

I love this artist. I looked at his website and loved the trampoline painting, Nativity, the dad eating the fudgesicle and the dancing on the island that was too small. He captures such emotion and I relate to his pictures and find myself in them. Thanks Annie!
i first saw kershisnik's work in a sundance catalog - the bottom right one, to be specific. that nativity one is amazing.
I love Kershisnik too. He is absolutely one of my favorite artists. He has a couple different paintings of a boy and his father. There's one that I've been wanting for years now.
